Jim found this kitchen in Hadam House, Old Newton a particularlyVarious appliances and the island unit interesting commission as it reflects recent changes in kitchen style.  The whole look is clean simple lines, no door mouldings for example, stainless steel fittings and appliances, long handles and though the curved door needed more work, with the inevitable expense, it makes everything flow.

The island work surface services the stove with three drawers facing it.  Jim approves of drawers under work surfaces, you can pull them out and seeThe sink unit what's in them whereas with cupboards you have to get down to peer in.  It looks that the stove is set in to the chimney breast but it is in fact a facade created by us.  The chrome roller shutter was a first for Jim.   It hides the toaster and other appliances to keep the look clean and flowing.  The finish is a mix of lacquered natural oak and paint.

Client Jo With did not supply a design sheet but had a rough idea of what she wanted.  Crystallising the design took much discussion and scanning of magazines by Jo!

We were very lucky to have Lorna With help us with the installation, the twin clocks are not just a styling device but help Lorna's dad Steve With who is Australian, and we remember the dog is a Great Dane but we can't remember his name!
